Beth Copenhaver is a character in the novella Kissyman by author Scott Sigler. The character is initially introduced in episode one of the podcast.

Character Background

Beth Copenhaver is a popular actress in the 1940's. She is visiting New York City for the premiere of her movie entitled Western Dawn, opposite John Wayne. Recently, Beth has been harassed by Mathis Wrenn, a stalker who has threatened her life. Beth originally approached the police about the harassment but when they were not able to dissuaded Wrenn's zealousness, she hired a bodyguard named The Gentleman to protect her. Little does she know that The Gentleman in turn has hired Kissyman to dispose of Wrenn.

Outward Appearance

Beth is described as being thin having a pale complexion with jet black hair, a delicate neck, blazing blue eyes and inviting lips. Being as beautiful as she is leaves both Kissyman and Lefty considering if she smelled like apples.

Details about Beth's personality are sparse, however Kissyman describes her as a woman of "culture and breeding." It can be assumed that she is a resourceful woman as her dissatisfaction with the outcome of police handling her stalker led her to seek out the protection of The Gentleman.
