Magda Magdalene

Magda is Lincoln's best friend and roommate at the Old Stone Church.
Magda is a former Rixator for The Bastion. She was severely injured a battle against Vestinian and was twice pronounced dead. She survived, but bears facial scars from the fight and has other damage that has been slow to heal, resulting in chronic pain. She takes prescribed pain meds and also self-medicates with drugs and alcohol.
Magda is an agoraphobe and rarely leaves the Old Stone Church. She spends her time there watching old movies, and hanging with Dragon and Lincoln.
Skills
Magda is Lincoln's armorer. She has limited weaver skills, which she uses to repair and enhance Lincoln's arms and armor.
As a former Rixator, Magda has extensive combat skills, although in SLAY 1, she is out of shape and out of practice.
Description
Magda stands 5-foot-6 and weighs 150 pounds. When SLAY begins, she's horribly out of shape. She has three ragged, parallel scars on her right cheek.
Scars
During a fight with Vestinian, Vestinian's protector, an Umataken, cut her badly.

Description 1: She felt the pain anew, felt the claws of the Umataken ripping down the side of her face, exposing her cheekbone to the cold winter air. The teeth biting down on her thigh. The snap of her femur. The pop, pop, pop of her toes being broken one at a time.
Description 2: Raking down her face. Raking slow. Skin ripping. Claw-tips slicing through her temporalis muscle, scraping against her skull: supenoid bone, then sphenoid, then hooking on her zygomatic — only for a moment — then crunching past, kicking out little chips of bone as they came free and gouged her zygomaticus minor and major. The blood, both running down her face and leaking through her cheek to spread its coppery taste across her tongue.
Weapons
Magda's melee weapon of choice is a trường đao, a Vietnamese sword.
