==Historical Notes==
The ''Atom Smashers'' franchise is among football's oldest, able to boast of over seven centuries of play.  Tracing its roots back to the ancient American Football League of Earth when it was known as the ''New York Titans'', the ''Atom Smashers'' relocated to [[League of Planets]] space in 2672.  The ''Smashers'' completed in Tier Two's League Conference before winning the T2 Tourney in 2677.  Three seasons later, ''Jang'' advanced to Galaxy Bowl XXII before losing to five-time champions, the [[To Pirates]].
