From SHAKEDOWN: Chen’s pockets perpetually bulged with bandanas. He carried four or five at a time, rotating through them when the one he wore tight around his forehead became soaked with sweat. He was one of the few sailors in engineering who wore his coveralls as intended, with arms in sleeves. Others wore them with arms tied around their waist. Most, though, didn’t wear coveralls at all. With the amount of gleaming, bare chests, sweat-soaked tank tops, and shorts rolled up as far as they could go, engineering looked like a discount strip club. Sigler, Scott.
