Book Synopsis

Famine. Death. War. Pestilence

These are the harbingers of the biblical apocalypse, of the End of the World. In science fiction, the end is triggered by less figurative means: nuclear holocaust, biological warfare/pandemic, ecological disaster, or cosmological cataclysm.

But before any catastrophe, there are people who see it coming. During, there are heroes who fight against it. And after, there are the survivors who persevere and try to rebuild.

The Apocalypse Triptych will tell their stories.

Edited by acclaimed anthologist 'John Joseph Adams' and bestselling author 'Hugh Howey,' The Apocalypse Triptych is a series of three anthologies of apocalyptic fiction. The End is Nigh focuses on life before the apocalypse. The End is Now turns its attention to life during the apocalypse. And The End has Come focuses on life after the apocalypse.

Books in the Series

The End is Nigh

Featuring the Scott Sigler story The Fifth Day of Deer Camp, The End is Nigh: The Apocalypse Triptych, Volume 1, contains stories taking place in a world about to be devastated by an apocalypse.

The End is Now

Featuring the Scott Sigler story The Sixth Day of Deer Camp, The End is Now: The Apocalypse Triptych, Volume 2 contains stories taking place in a world in the midst of an apocalypse.

The End has Come

Featuring the Scott Sigler story The Seventh Day of Deer Camp, The End has Come: The Apocalypse Triptych, Volume 3 contains stories taking place as a world recovers from an apocalypse.

Author participation

Authors were encouraged to write one story for each of the three volumes of the anthology series.[1] However, not all authors participate in this way. Some authors contribute to all three, some contribute to two, and some just to a single volume.
