- 2017: Scott Sigler announces his partnership with James Patterson to write the first novel in the Patterson Teen line of Young Adult books. The frist book is announced as Sparkle Horse, a romance about a teenage girl and her magical unicorn.

- 2007: Sigler Ascension Day is established after the unanticipated success of the Dragon Moon press edition of Ancestor.
- 2007: Ancestor (1st edition paperback) is released in the US. To promote the book, a ficticious blog for character Liu Jian Dan is launched.
