A Pitter is a pack predator descended from large domesticated dogs common to the 21st century.

predatory bird that exists in the Medieval America timeline. Continuars are possibly descended from Eurasian Eagle Owls.

DESCRIPTION

Adult pitters weigh between 100 to 180 pounds (45-81kg). Their bite is powerful enough to break a horse's neck. There are stories of pitters so big and powerful they can break the neck of a Holstein with a single bite.

PREY

Pitters prey on large mammals, such as deer, moose and elk, and on any small animal they can catch. They eat people when they can, and commonly stalk people who travel alone or in small groups.
