Tonda Murphy is an ancillary character in the rough draft version of the novel Nocturnal by author Scott Sigler. The character is initially introduced in episode seven of the audio version of Nocturnal.

Character Background

Tonda Murphy is a Police Officer with the San Francisco Police Department and is also the partner of Officer Wie Chi Yen. Not only are they partners but they are also lovers. Tonda is one of the first officers to respond to the 911 call and murder scene of Kyle Souller.

Tonda is also mentioned as one of the three police officers saved from a hostage situation by Bryan Clauser, with "Pookie" Chang and John Smith being the other two.

The character's full name is Tonda Murphy. The nickname of "Big Tonda" is also used to describe this character.
