==Historical Notes==
The Armada came into existence as one of the original Intergalactic Football League (IGFL) franchises. When the [[GFL]] re-formed for the 2669 season, the Armada was invited to join. Competitive from the beginning, the Armada made the playoffs twice before winning the Galaxy Bowl in 2674. That was also the last season that the [[GFL]] played sixteen games. The following season, in 2675, the league switched to the current twelve-game season. The Armada won their only Tier 1 Championship against the Thomas 3 Lions, 9 points to 6, in Galaxy Bowl XVI.
