==Character Background==
Sean Robertson is the Sub Chief of Police for the San Francisco Police Department. In episode 4, he is in attendance at the debriefing of SFPD Homicide Detectives [["Pookie" Chang]] and [[Bryan Clauser]] on "Piss Man" cases, along with Chief [[Amy Zou]]. He and [[Amy Zou|Chief Zou]] seem to share some little-known understanding about these symbols as they consider taking [["Pookie" Chang|Pookie]] and [[Bryan Clauser|Bryan]] off the cases, however it is not disclosed what the connection is.

In episode 4, Robertson receives an email that confirms the symbols from the murder scenes were searched via the FBI's Symbols Analysis Database (SAD). After calling [[John Smith|John "The Black Mr. Burns" Smith]] and confirming that it was [["Pookie" Chang|Pookie]] who made the inquiry, Robertson makes a call from his cell phone to an unidentified person to tip them off about the research being done on the symbols.
