Tonda Murphy is a Police Officer with the San Francisco Police Department and is also the partner of Officer [[Wie Chi Yen]]. Not only are they partners but they are also lovers. Tonda is one of the first officers to respond to the 911 call and murder scene of [[Kyle Souller]].

Tonda is also mentioned as one of the three police officers saved from a hostage situation by [[Bryan Clauser]], with [["Pookie" Chang]] and [[John Smith]] being the other two.
