==Hitorical Notes==
Along with the Closs Cannibals, the Ki New Fangs and the Pichen Plunder, the Vanguard franchise was created in 2673 to flesh out the new Ki Conference. The very next season, the Vanguard won the T2 Tournament to earn promotion into Tier One. Just five seasons later, the Vanguard advanced to Galaxy Bowl XXI, which the team lost to [[GFL]] champions [[New Rodina Astronauts]]
