From SLAY 2: HATCHET MAN: Damn, did she look old. She’d lost muscle. Her ochre-colored cassock hung on her like it was three sizes too large for her skeletal frame. Her hair had been white before, sure, but now there was less of it. The dull, scratched bronze pauldrons, the Clostator’s badge of office, looked too large for her shoulders, too heavy for them. The ancient armor seemed to pull her shoulders down.
