Candice Walker appears in Pandemic. She was a crew member on the nuclear submarine USS Los Angeles when the crew was infected and nearly managed to escape before having a run-in with "Wicked" Charlie Petrofski. Her corpse was later studied by Dr. Margaret Montoya and Dr. Tim Feely aboard the USS Carl Brashear where it was discovered her corpse contained a combative strain, called Hydras, which could target and destroy the alien infection.
