Basil Beverly is the Clostasecundo (next in line to be in charge) of the Bastion, and socius of Rochelle Kolar.

Descriptions from SLAY 2:
- Lincoln stood on weak legs. He saw double. A man, twirling a staff. No, not a staff… five feet of galvanized pipe. Dark tan robes, loose sleeves. Front and back flaps dangling almost to the concrete, slit up the sides to let his legs move free. A beaded bag hanging off his right hip. Hair in a bun with a hair stick through it.
- The bounty hunter smiled. His incisors and front teeth were gold, with a letter done in tiny diamonds on each one: F, T, J, J. He wasn’t black, he wasn’t white, he wasn’t Asian, he wasn’t Indian, wasn’t Chinese, but rather a mix of all of those things, and none of them things at the same time.
