Spaced along the Purist Nation's territorial borders, Watchtower stations form the backbone of early-warning defense grids. Using massive darsat arrays and redundant passive gravsig monitors, these stations can detect fleet mustering activity and punch-space transits from hundreds of thousands of kilometers away.
Designed for survivability but not prolonged combat, Watchtower stations rely on external fleets for major protection. Their reinforced armor plating and foam-compartmentalized interiors provide moderate resistance to missile and torpedo strikes but cannot withstand sustained fleet assaults.
