Anna Villani is a character in the novel The Starter by author Scott Sigler. The Starter is the sequel to the previously published novel, The Rookie'.
Character Background
Anna Villani is the owner of the Galactic Football League (GFL) team named Orbiting Death.
Villani is a gangster and only gained control of the Orbiting Death and her crime syndicate on Orbital Station One when she allegedly murdered crime boss, Skikka the Death. Villani was Sikka's second-in-command.
Villani had a consort who was a popular actress named Grace McDermott. Without Villani's knowledge Grace was dating Orbiting Death football player Ju Tweedy. When Grace was found dead and Ju Tweedy is accused of the murder, Villani releases Tweedy from his contract with the Orbiting Death and thus removing his immunity protection from the law.
