Dr. Derek Sheldon is a character in the rough draft version of the novel Nocturnal by author Scott Sigler. The character is initially introduced in episode 27 of the audio version of Nocturnal.
Character Background
Dr. Derek Sheldon is the doctor running the Richmond District Clinic when mobster Pavil Rockmanov was brought in with a gunshot wound. Dr. Sheldon alerted the SFPD about the gunshot wound victim.
Fan Based Character
The character of Derek Sheldon is named for the devoted junkie by the same name whose avatar is pictured at the left. This dedicated junkie can be found as an active member on the official Scott Sigler website forums under the user name of Space Mouse.
