Main Characters

Billy "Lil' B" Middleton

Kid from the wrong side of town who gets drawn into the madness that is the Patchwork.

Lincoln Franks

Main article: Lincoln Franks

Lincoln Franks, a Rixator who used to work for The Bastion with the rest of his famous monster-hunting family, has turned his back on being a company man. Although his brother and sister continue to work for The Bastion, Lincoln has gone freelance and now only fights supernatural creatures when he is paid to.

Magda Magdalene

Main article: Magda Magdalene

Lincoln's best friend and roommate at the [Old Church].

Antagonists

Callista

Description from S01E03:

"Lincoln knew her visage was masked in magic, but his dick didn’t care. Christ, was she hot. The chainmail bikini top and long red skirt were something out of an old-school metalhead’s wet dream."

"Calista stood, stared down at him, the fire in her eyes almost the same color as her long, curly hair."

Dante Oganov

A goblin drug dealer from Miami who wants to work his way into The City.

Descriptions from S01E02:

Human form: "Seventy pounds overweight, yellowing teeth, hair slicked back by either gel or the same sweat that sheened his face, yet Billy wouldn’t have crossed the man for all the money in the world."

Monster form: "Dante had green skin. Green. His mouth was wider. Pointy ears. Yellow eyes. Sharp teeth that were too big for the yellowish lips. Dante’s red track suit hung on him. He was shorter, and at least fifty pounds lighter."

Teddy Two-Fingers

The bad guy who kidnapped Linc's son Sam and put him on the Shelf.

Other characters

Amanda

Referenced in passing in S01E03. Lincoln's wife. We don't know what became of her.

Bingles

Bingles, a gnome, is a "wiper," someone who wipes clean scenes of violence so that the unenlightened have no idea violence occurred. Bingles is also the leader of a sex club that helps him wipe scenes.

Bobby

(vocal reference: Mister T)

A minotaur who is Callista's primary bodyguard.

Boss Hawg

A bounty hunter with a pig's face. He dresses in three-piece white suits. Huge fan of the original Dukes of Hazzard.

Dillon Cantrell

Lawyer who finds bounties for Lincoln. Cantrell is a junior member of the law firm Cantrell & Cantrell, which practices in Cordis.

Delilah Droman

Daughter of Kellius Droman. Delilah, ten, is rumored to have inherited her father's gift for meshwork.

Kellius Droman

A powerful mage in the city. He owns the "Pets-R-People" chain of pet supply stores, the "Fastest Freight" shipping company, and two Tesla dealerships. His daughter is Delilah Droman.

Finish the Job Johnson

A bounty hunter who finishes every job, even if the people who hired him call it off. FTJJ is a former monk of the Bastion. His primary weapon is a magical staff that presents as a five-foot-long galvanized metal pipe.

The Flechete Sisters

A pair of bounty hunters that ride large panthers magicked to look like vespa scooters. Betty is blonde and rides a black panther, Veronica is a brunette and rides a blonde panther. They both carry broadswords in back-scabbards.

Flechette Sisters description in context

Both Billy and the Man in Gray looked to the end of the alley. In some other reality — or more likely in some really weird internet porn, two stacked — a pair of blonde honeys running his way might be a good thing, a music video with a half-baked plot and full-fledged booties. The fact that both women held there-not-there swords, though, likely meant they were coming to kill him.

Gary Satyr

(vocal reference: George Takai)

Doorman/assistant to [Callista]. Gary is a Satyr who dresses like a proper, old-timey English butler, but only from the waist up (he's a goat from the waist down).

Gramma

Main article: Gramma

Billy's grandmother. Gramma is actually a wizard, something she's kept hidden from Billy his whole life. She has always tried to keep Billy hidden away, so his parents can't find him and turn him toward evil.

Ariella Goldsmith

Main article: Ariella Goldsmith

A lawyer from the normal plane that has beef with Callista. Callista hired Lincoln to assassinate Ariella. Ariella struck a deal with Lincoln so that he didn't have to work for Callista anymore.

Jacoby Franks

(vocal reference: Al Pacino in SCENT OF A WOMAN) Lincoln's father. Considered by many to be the greatest monster-hunter of all time.

Notes:

  • He's in a wheelchair due to his final fight for the Bastion.
  • He has acid reflux.
  • He's an alcoholic and sneaks drinks all the time (Lloyd facilitates, more to keep the peace than to enable).
  • 80 years old (had Lincoln and the other kids late in life?)

Favorite song: English Suite No. 3 in G-Minor.

Description from S01E03:

"Once upon a time his silver hair had been so thick it looked like it would slice your hand if you brushed it the wrong way. Now the hair was far thinner, far finer, far limper."

"Gnarled, bony hands gripped the wheels. Jacoby rolled himself to the nightstand."

Lukas Franks

Lincoln's younger brother.

NOTES:

  • Described as having "the same heavyweight contender look as dad," with dad being Jacoby Franks.
  • His street clothes are a white shirt, brown slacks, brown tie, the off-duty uniform of Rixators working for the Bastion.

Samuel Franks

Lincoln's only child. Sam is imprisoned on the Shelf.

Sophia Franks

Lincoln's older sister.

Not-So-Tiny Tim

A gnome that works alongside Bingles. Not-So-Tiny Tim always wears a studded leather codpiececodpiece that houses his substantial genitalia.

Rocky

(Vocal reference: George Takia)

A street mailbox with Rocky Horror Picture Show lips instead of a pull-down slot.

Maylene

Nubile succubus and one of Callista's club kids who hooks up with Lincoln from time to time (enter description from text)

Mercutio

Nubile young club kid who is one of Callista's criminal assistants.

Nanny Naga

An elderly naga who guards [Samuel Franks] on the [Shelf].

Lloyd Neely

Caretaker at Sunset House, where Jacoby Franks lives. Lloyd has an under-the-table agreement with Lincoln——cash to make sure Jacoby is taken care of, and Lincoln can have special late night / early morning visiting hours when no civilians are there.

Description from S01E03:

"Lloyd wasn’t a day over thirty. He looked like the kind of guy who’d never been in a fight."

Shitbird

A magical crow that acts as Lincoln's scout.

Vestinian

The bad guy who carved up Magda when she and Lincoln were working for the Bastion. Afterward, she quit the business, which led to the Bastion kicking her out of the organization. That led to Lincoln quitting, both in protest, and because he needed to pay a bunch of bills (including money for his father's care).
