Colin Walker is a character in the novel titled The Crypt by author Scott Sigler. The character is initially introduced in episode five of the podcast version of The Crypt Book 01: The Crew.
Character Background
Walker was described as a talented pilot but his career took a detour after committing a heinous crime. As a result of his convinction, he was stationed to the Walker irrevocably changed the lives of Jonas and Kira Robinson when he broke into their home and murdered Kira and their two children. Kira had called the emergency hotline when she realized there was an intruder but the police took 35 minutes to respond. Instead, Kira’s husband, Jonas, arrived home first and found his wife dead with her throat slit and Walker in the act of raping her dead body. Walker was being beat by Jonas Robinson when the police arrived and stopped him. As Walker was being hauled away by the police, he smiled at Robinson and told him to check the bedroom. There, Robinson found his 3 year old and 5 old children strangled.

Outward Appearance
Walker is described as "wiry" as he stood about 5-foot-8 and weighed approximately 140 pounds. He is further described as having a nose that was badly broken in an altercation resulting in his subsequent conviction for rape and murder.
Personality
Initially, Graves appeared to be a person of great control. While waiting for the interrogator, she sat completely still for about three hours barely blinking. However, while interrogating Graves, Commander Lowell described her has having a cold blue eyed stare. She calmly and flatly described the attempted rape situation that led her killing Fred Noble which was unlike the normal response for a rape victim. She showed no remorse, was calm and methodical showing no emotional response.
Skills
Walker is considered to be one of the best cruiser-class pilots in the Planetary Union Navy. After his final piloting trials, he was accused of rigging the system because he scored off the charts in all reaction-time and subconscious physics processing tests. Walker is the only candidate to have passed the test, yet been forced to take it a second time. At the second trial he scored even higher than the first. The tests scores were re-calibrated afterward and Walker's scores set the benchmark for a perfect score.
Crimes
Walker was tried in a secret military tribunal for the murder of two children, and the rape and murder of a civilian. Walker was convicted and given an opportunity to have his record expunged if he served two years aboard the Keeling.

This dedicated junkie can be found as an active member on the official Scott Sigler website forums under the user name of randomelements. The character of Colin Walker was also introduced in episode 5 which was of a co-author collaboration between Scott Sigler and author Jeremy Robinson.
